LCGC does not have a PGA Professional [nor a Pro Shop].
However, if you are in the area and looking for a lesson or a nine-hole teach-in, you could do far worse than book-in with our former European Tour Professional [almost in residence], Mike McLean. Many people will remember from his 'Tour' days, and his wins in the Portuguese and Mauritius Opens.
Mike moved to the neighbourhood a few years ago, and asked permission to practice on the course, as it was very close by. This was granted, on condition that he agreed to play as Captain's Professional on a monthly basis - a practice which continues to this day.
He has become fully-involved in club events, social as well as golfing, and was made an 'honorary member' in 2005.
