The first Clubhouse as such was opened in 1896 - and it's still going strong! Various bits have been added in the intervening century or so, but the intrinsic character remains unchanged.

 

Not especially prepossessing from the outside, however the additions that have been made have been well matched-in with the original.

But it's once inside the Bar and Dining area that the true character of this place really shines through:

A famous name on one of the many trophy boards in the bar - George's son, Brian, is still a regular visitor.
