ENTRANCE FEE WAIVED FOR FIRST 20 NEW MEMBERS IN 2009!
Most Golf Clubs have traditionally charged a one-off Entrance Fee - typically the equivalent of half the first year subscription - to new Members. This was seen as a way of encouraging loyalty - as clubs like members who join and stick around.
Like many other clubs, Limpsfield Chart has suffered from a drop in membership at the time of year when the new annual subscription is payable - this is down to a number of factors - although in our case it is more a factor of 'Anno Domini' - people switching from playing to social membership, as they feel they are no longer active enough to do justice to a playing membership.
So for a limited period - not time-based, but purely based on first 20 successful applications in 2009, Limpsfield Chart GC is waiving the Entrance Fee. Typically, this will result in a saving of £300 in your first year's membership cost.

Whilst you are thinking about membership, just give the following a thought: - If you were to apply today and be successful in becoming a member - and you were to play golf once a week during the year - each round would cost you a maximum of £14 - where else can you get this quality of entertainment and exercise for 3 - 4 hours? Of course, if you play more than that.....
