This historical gem of a course with its unique clubhouse offers golf club membership and visitor golf of the highest order

Established in 1889, the 9-hole course has been subject to many changes, but retains its intrinsic character and presents a golfing challenge to all levels of golfer

Less than 25 miles from central London, the Chart nestles below the North Downs, and when the course opened in 1889, it was a virtually tree-less heath covered in heather and gorse.

Nowadays, trees line every fairway and ensure that the wayward shot is duly punished!

Many of the holes are quite short, but then the greens are small. An accurate short game and good putting are the keys to a successful round

The club boasts an olde worlde clubhouse, steeped in tradition, with some well-known names on 115 years worth of Trophy Boards

The warmth of the welcome and the quality of the catering tell their own stories - most societies who visit do so time and again.
