Limpsfield Chart welcomes visitors

Green Fees and visiting societies are an essential part of the income of a golf club, and as such we always try to extend a warm welcome to all visitors.

However, the different sections in the club have many competitions and matches, and we don’t want you to be disappointed by turning up on ‘spec’ and finding that you can’t play.

We hope in future to be able to publish dates and times when the course is closed to visitors.

Meanwhile, please call the Secretary any weekday between 9am and 1pm to check.

We know that a 9-hole course cannot accommodate the numbers required by large societies and groups - at best we can only get 48 people out on the course at one time - so we cut our cloth accordingly.

As a result, Limpsfield Chart has become a popular venue with smaller groups, where you can be made to feel welcome, not that you are on a conveyor belt.

We take care to ensure that members and visitors enjoy their golf - without seeing too much of each other on the course....

Many visiting societies return year after year - their annual game on the Chart being an integral part of the golfing year.

But we are always interested to hear from other groups who might be interested in organising an event.
