Season 3 Tier 4....The Sequel, yet more rules!

There's a touch of 'deja vu'...the various ‘Limpsfield Chart War Cabinets’ have sat, there has been a hot line to our governing bodies, they have not yet made their official statements however, following the Prime Minsters announcement, I am delighted to announce we can remain open, but we love a rule, a very strict rule!

Sports and physical activity

The government said to us:

Indoor gyms and sports facilities will close. Outdoor sports courts, outdoor gyms, golf courses, outdoor swimming pools, archery/driving/shooting ranges, riding centres and playgrounds can remain open for individual exercise, and for people to use with others within your household, support bubble, or with one person from another household. Organised outdoor sport for under 18s and disabled people will be allowed.

Can we play golf?

Yes, with strict guidelines:

• Individual exercise
• Household and support bubble only
• 1 other person outside your household

In effect, you can play 2-ball golf with a friend or play with your household!  As ever, for everyones protection we will be marshalling the course.  Anyone taking exercise that is willing to help, we would greatly accept your assistance!

You need to take action - With regret, we will be cancelling some organised golf

• The Fledglings Christmas Scramble is unfortunately cancelled, perhaps we can revisit in the New Year.  It would have been a great turn out, so keep that fancy dress, we'll hold the prizes and watch out for the rescheduled date!
• Should you want to play golf, those slots will become available for 2-ball golf, in accordance with Government Guidelines.
• If you already have tee bookings of more than 2 balls between now and 30th December, please amend your booking immediately.
• All Group Bookings/Society Bookings will be postponed.
• Any bookings that are not amended with 24 hours will be taken out of the system in order for the Club to remain compliant.
• There are heavy fines both for individuals and businesses, please don't compromise yourselves or The Club. We thank you again in anticipation of your cooperation.  

Booking In/Track and Trace

The sign in sheets will now be placed in the lobby.  Please remember to mark your name off or sign the book if your name  doesn't appear on the sheet. Also, wher the NHS App is loaded on your phone, please scan your QR code accordingly.

Clubhouse

The Clubhouse is officially closing with immediate effect for anything but essential work.
